Built From the Field Up.
Praxis Vanguard Consulting was not built in a boardroom. It was built across many years of SAP implementations, architecture decisions, project rescues, presales demos, and the kinds of difficult client conversations that most consultants avoid. Our partners spent nearly two decades working at every level of the SAP ecosystem — from configuring SAP modules on a manufacturing plant's first ECC implementation, to delivering fully integrated S/4HANA demos.
That journey began with real business experience before moving into hands-on implementation roles serving clients across manufacturing, utilities, food and beverage, and chemicals industries. It deepened through years as an embedded solution architect inside client organizations — owning the full system landscape, driving upgrades from ECC to S/4HANA, and building the kind of institutional knowledge that only comes from being accountable for a system long after go-live. It expanded further through presales demo leadership at leading SAP partner firms and as a Presales Solution Architect at an enterprise-scale consultancy — delivering integrated, end-to-end demonstrations across both Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments that set a new standard for what consulting firm presales capability could look like.
That career arc — from end user to implementation consultant to solution architect to presales leader — is what Praxis Vanguard is built on. Not theory. Practice.

What We Stand For.
Our motto is Knowledge, Integrity, and Excellence. These are not aspirational words on a wall. They are the operating principles that define how we engage with every client, on every project, every time.

We believe trust is earned through honesty, accountability, and clear communication. We tell clients what they need to hear — not just what is comfortable — and we take responsibility for our decisions, outcomes, and mistakes. Integrity means acting in our clients' best interests, even when it requires difficult conversations. We would rather lose business than mislead a client. That is not a marketing statement. It is a line we will not cross.

We pursue knowledge not as theory, but as practice. We value continuous learning, intellectual rigor, and curiosity, applying insight where it matters most. Technology is a powerful tool, but people, context, and understanding are what turn information into real progress. Eighteen years of working across industries — manufacturing, utilities, food and beverage, and chemicals — has given us not just technical depth, but the contextual judgment to know what works, what does not, and why. We believe informed decisions create sustainable success.

Excellence is not perfection — it is discipline, preparation, and follow-through. We hold ourselves to high standards, deliver with purpose, and continually refine our approach. Excellence means doing the work the right way, not the easy way, and leaving every system, process, and relationship stronger than we found it. When Tony Bowlin walks into a demo or an architecture review or a board presentation, it is never unrehearsed. Preparation is how we respect our clients' time and investment.
